Chiang Rai → Chiang Khong Border Checkpoint

Pickup- Morning: 05:00–05:30 AM or Afternoon: 02:00–02:30 PM

  • Please select your preferred departure time when booking.
  • Our shared air-conditioned van will pick you up from your hotel or designated meeting point in Chiang Rai.
  • Travel from Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong, located on the Thailand–Laos border.
  • The service ends at the Chiang Khong Vehicle Border Checkpoint on the Thai side. For private transfers, if you prefer a hotel drop-off in Chiang Khong town, please provide your hotel name.
  • Please note that this option does not include crossing the border or transportation into Laos.
  • Estimated Travel Time Approximately 1:30 – 2 hours, For private transfers, please depart early to ensure you cross the border before it closes at 8:00 PM.

To ensure travel insurance coverage, passengers are required to submit a copy of their passport at least 1 day before departure via email or WhatsApp

Each ticket includes:

  • One bag up to 20 inches; or

  • One backpack per person

Oversized or additional luggage is charged at 200 THB per item, payable directly to the driver on the travel day.

Please declare all luggage when booking. Unregistered or unpaid oversized luggage may not be accepted if there is insufficient space in the vehicle.

  • With your permission, we may request your photo and share your contact details with the driver for easy identification and smooth communication.

Thailand Side – Private Transfer

Our Thai driver will pick you up in a private vehicle and take you to the Chiang Khong border. You will then cross the Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge by shared shuttle bus.

Laos Side – Private Transfer

After clearing Lao immigration, our Laos team will meet you with a different private driver and vehicle and take you directly to your drop-off location in Huay Xai.

Note: Private drivers and vehicles are provided separately on both sides. Only the bridge crossing is shared.
